I received my official letter yesterday via e-mail from the consulate. This was one day shy of 6 months from the 2nd appointment I had in December 2015 or a little less than 6 months from the submission of the last documents I was asked to provide. Thanks to all for the help that you have provided along the way :)

Miami, 15 months from appointment to letter received in the mail. Easy JS application: GF>M>Me. Miami moves at the speed of a glacier.

Consulate: Los Angeles
Date submitted final document to consulate: March 10, 2017
Letter received via e-mail: March 23, 2017 (13 days)

BTW, I called consulate on May 3, asking how much longer she thought it would take, and she said she'd emailed it to me on March 23rd. I found it in my spam email! Aarrgghh.

Advice: Call the Consulate to check status every few weeks.

FOOTNOTE: Earliest available Passport appointment, as of May 3rd: August 16, 2017. (105 days!!!) (Yikes.)
